Volunteer Overview

Thank you for considering volunteering with Freedom Road Transportation! Volunteer work includes all ages, professionals and non-professionals, diverse religious and ethnic groups. You may volunteer as an individual, as part of a small group, or get your whole organization involved. Individuals with varied ability levels and from all walks of life can provide useful services. You can be a productive team member, meet other people who share your values, and have fun! Volunteers are the lifeblood of many non-profits, and Freedom Road Transportation relies heavily on the goodwill of their volunteer to help serve our mission to provide a volunteer driver program that empowers those in need of transportation options in Michigan.

Here at Freedom Road Transportation, our Volunteer Drivers are chosen by our Riders, but we currently have a need for Volunteer Drivers for specific Human Service Organizations. Training, good driving record, valid insurance and TimeBanks membership required. Be sure to specify you are interested in becoming a volunteer driver on your Volunteer Application form.
